One Lush Green Forest

07/10/2011   We visited a park called  "Go Ape"...in pursuit to have some fun on it's rope course.  The kids just did a similar ropes course in South Carolina in June.  It's pretty cool...each person is harnessed in and they navigate through  ropes, bridges, ladders, etc...and it's way up high.  The kids were all excited to get another chance to climb, and this one had zip lines through trees!  You can imagine their excitement.  Well, we soon learned there was at least a two hour wait to even begin the course.  We opted to come back at a less busy time, and proceed with mountain biking instead.  It was a beautiful day and we were still able to get some fresh air and exercise.  Nick was a champ and found each and every puddle...and lake.  :)  We biked about five miles and explored the forest together.  Btw, when did the kids get faster than us?...:) 
Although plans changed, a fun day indeed!
